OVERVIEW
We believe we are a leading provider of location-based services, consisting primarily of stolen vehicle recovery and tracking services. We also provide wireless communications products used in connection with our location-based services. We currently provide our services and sell our products in Israel, Brazil, Argentina and the United States. We utilize technologies that enable precise and secure high-speed data transmission and analysis. Some of the technology underlying our products was originally developed for the Israel Defense Forces in order to locate downed pilots.
We generate our revenues from subscription fees paid for our location-based services and from the sale of our wireless communications products. Since 1998, we have achieved sequential growth in quarterly net subscriber base.
We have a strong relationship with insurance companies.
We were incorporated in Israel in 1994 and began marketing our location-based services and wireless communications products in 1995. In May 1998, we completed the initial public offering of our ordinary shares in Israel and our ordinary shares began trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. In September 2005, we completed the initial public offering of our ordinary shares in the United States and our ordinary shares began trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market as a Nasdaq National Market security.
